Psalm 20 verses 6-7 (NIV)
Now this I know:
The LORD gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
David is not merely quoting scripture here, he is testifying to something that he knows and has experienced. It is his testimony and he knows that it’s true. It is a powerful thing when we share with others what we have experienced and know to be true. By doing so we can make an impact on those who currently put their trust in things other than God. It’s a timely reminder never to underestimate the power of our testimony in God’s hands.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for reminding me of the impact our testimony. Help me to share it when the opportunity arises. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
