Luke chapter 16 verses 14-15 (NIV) The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.”Luke Christmas challenge day 16. People have different opinions about what they value. The Pharisees appeared to love money and status. But Jesus reminded them that God looks at our hearts and also that we should not attempt to justify ourselves. The person that we should be seeking to please is God, not anyone else. Dear Lord, Help me always to see things through Your eyes that will keep things in perspective. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
