Leviticus chapter 8 verse 5 (NIV)
Moses said to the assembly, “This is what the LORD has commanded to be done. ”
In this chapter we read, ” this is what the LORD commanded to be done,” nine times. God is always clear. He never leaves us in any doubt because He is not the author of confusion. If we set ourselves to follow God, He will not allow us to go off on a wrong path, providing we respond to His instructions. On the other hand, if we think we know what we’re doing, and we don’t follow His lead, that’s when we get ourselves in trouble. Also, if we are uncertain about a direction to take, we can ask the Lord for clarity and instruction. He will not leave us in any doubt.
Dear Lord,
Thank You that You want the best for us, and make Your ways known so that we can live as You intend. Your instructions are always better than my own thoughts. Help me not to take any shortcuts from Your directions. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
