Proverbs Chapter 5 – Verse 21 (NIV Anglicised version.)
For your ways are in full view of the Lord,
And He examines all your paths.
Nothing surprises God because He sees everything that we do. For some that might be intimidated but for others its reassuring because if we make a mess of things, we don’t need to hide away from God – He knows about it anyway. He doesn’t turn away from us, and we can come to Him for forgiveness and to put things right. And He will put us back on the right path if we are willing. That assurance however should also remind us to be compassionate to anyone who comes to us for forgiveness.
Dear God,
Thank You for Your forgiveness and compassion. Help me to trust in Your guidance to keep me on the right path. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
