22 February 2026 – What have I learned today?

Exodus chapter 31 verses 1-6 (NIV)

Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills — to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,  to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you.”

Bezalel and Oholiab were chosen by God. They were skilled craftsmen but God didn’t expect them to do what He required of them in their own strength, He filled them with the Holy Spirit and endued them with wisdom and knowledge.

Even if God chooses to use us  in areas which others might see are our strengths, naturally speaking, He doesn’t expect us to act under our own strength. He expects us to be led and guided by the Holy Spirit, who dwell in us. The same also applies should God choose to use us in areas where naturally we feel weak. If God has a work for us to do, He will give us whatever we need to do it on His behalf. All He requires us to do is to be obedient.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the equipping and guiding of the Holy Spirit. Make me obedient to His direction. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
