2 Chronicles chapter 19 verses 6 – 7 (NIV)
He told them, “Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the LORD, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. Now let the fear of the LORD be on you. Judge carefully, for with the LORD our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”
This is another reminder to be mindful of our attitude and to be careful not to make any rash judgement on others, or on any decisions we have to make, because anything that we do should be done as if we are doing it for the Lord. (Which we are. )
Surely if we keep that at the forefront of our mind we won’t go far wrong.
Dear Lord,
Help me always to remember Paul’s counsel to the Colossians, that it is the Lord Jesus we are serving, and let that influence my judgements. I ask in His Name. Amen.
