Isaiah Chapter 56 verse 1 (NIV)
This is what the LORD says:
“Maintain justice
and do what is right,
for my salvation is close at hand
and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
In all the hullabaloo that we see in the media at the moment regarding different world affairs, it would be easy to get uptight about how things might unfold, however this verse from Isaiah reminds me that I should keep my focus on the things of God. He is, after all, still in control and knows exactly what He is doing. Things may seem chaotic to us now, but God’s plans will not be thwarted. Praise God!
Dear Lord,
In the midst of noise and all things chaotic, I am grateful that I can have confidence that nothing is hidden from You. Thank You that You will make everything right just as You have planned it. In the meantime, help me to do what is just and right no matter what. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
