Ephesians Chapter 3: Verses 10-12 (NLT)
God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.
Paul tells the Galatians in verse 10 of this chapter that God’s purpose was to use the church to display His wisdom in all it’s rich variety. For those of us who want to follow Jesus, it may seem a little daunting that we, as part of the church of Jesus, are who God wants to use to speak to others. But God knows us all well, and He knows we are all different, and He knows how best to use us through that rich variety.
Also, we are told that as followers of Jesus we can come boldly and confidently into God’s presence, not because of anything we’ve done, or anything we feel we can’t do, but because of what Jesus has done for us.
Dear Lord,
Because Your wisdom has such rich variety, You know how best to use me for Your Glory. That means I don’t have to worry about it. Thank You. Amen.
