25 February 2026 – What have I learned today?

Exodus chapter 38 verses 22-22

Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything the LORD commanded Moses;  with him was Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan—an engraver and designer, and an embroiderer in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen.

1 Corinthians chapter 14 verse 33 (NIV)

When we read of all the details in chapter 37 and 38 of Exodus which outline just how intricate and ornate the items were that Bezalel and Oholiab had created, we begin to understand just how specific God’s instruction to Moses had been. Nothing was left to the imagination of the craftsmen. God had made everything very clear so that they were in no doubt of what needed to be done. If God has a work for us to do, we can be reassured that He will give us all the information and ability we need to be able to carry it out. He will never leave us in any doubt about what He wants us to do. For we know, as we are reminded in the letter to the Corinthians, that God is not the author of confusion.

Dear Lord,

Thank You that we never need to wonder what You want us to do. The Holy Spirit will direct and guide us and not allow us to take a wrong turn. I ask that my ears and my heart will be open to His direction. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
