Nehemiah chapter 7 verse 5 ( NIV)
So my God put it into my heart to assemble the nobles, the officials and the common people for registration by families. I found the genealogical record of those who had been the first to return. This is what I found written there:
God put it on Nehemiah’s heart to register all of the people, high born or low. None were excluded. God was interested in everyone without exception. He still is. That’s why Jesus came. Our status means nothing to God, but our lives do, for Jesus gave His life for them. That’s why it’s not our place to judge anyone on their status.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for reminding me that every life is important in Your sight. Help me to treat everyone I come across with the same grace and compassion that You have shown to me. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
