2 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 2 – 3 (NIV)
You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
Not everyone can be an eloquent writer or speaker. Neither is everyone called to be a preacher or a teacher. However, we are all called to live our lives as though we are doing it for the Lord. (Colossians 3:23)
If we allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through us, we then become a living testimony of God’s grace. And we don’t need fancy words for that. This backs up a popular saying in modern Christian circles that we might be the only bible that some people read. Let’s make sure then that Jesus is seen in us.
Dear Lord,
Help me to allow the Holy Spirit to continue His work in me and make my life a living testimony of your grace. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
