Leviticus chapter 9 verses 5-6 (NIV)
They took the things Moses commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the entire assembly came near and stood before the LORD. Then Moses said, “This is what the LORD has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the LORD may appear to you.”
God promised Moses that His Presence would fill the Tabarnacle. He would dwell in the midst of His people. But the people had to be prepared. They couldn’t come unprepared.
Thanks to the work of redemption, we can come into God’s Presence. Nonetheless, if we want to experience the glory of the Lord, we too should come prepared with the right attitude in our hearts. We should never casually come into God’s Presence. He is a Holy God.
Dear Lord,
Thank You that in Christ I can come before Your Throne. May I never take that privilege and honour lightly. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
