Jeremiah chapter 16 verse 21 (NIV)
Therefore I will teach them—
this time I will teach them
my power and might.
Then they will know
that my name is the LORD.
If the Lord told Jeremiah that people would know Him by His power and might, it struck me on reading this verse, that perhaps that’s why so many people don’t know the Lord as they should.
That being so, do we as God’s people, not have to take some responsibility for this. We ourselves need to expect God to move in might and power through our own lives. If we allow Him to do so, it will be noticed, and it will make an impact.
Dear Lord,
Change my expectations and move through my life in might and power. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
