2 Chronicles chapter 36 verses 15-16
The LORD, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling place. But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.
I find these verses really sad, and mainly because they are actually so up to date, for they could be describing things as they are today. So many continue to mock God, Jesus, and the genuine church of Christ. Yet, inpite of this, because of Jesus’ people still have the opportunity, for now, to escape God’s wrath. That is still however time limited for the signs are that Jesus’ return, is ever closer, and time is short. Thus, we as Ambassadors must ignore the mocking, and seek to show His grace by our conduct.
Dear Lord,
I’m so grateful for the compassion and grace You have shown, and continue to show. Help me to do likewise as Your servant. I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
