Matthew Chapter 4: Verse 24 (NLT Version)
News about him spread as far as Syria, and people began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon-possessed or epileptic or paralyzed – he healed them all.
Good news travels fast – even without the internet and other modern technology! News about Jesus’ ministry soon spread way beyond Galilee. Desperate and sick people were brought to Him in droves and He healed them all. He didn’t say, “Not you”, or “I can’t deal with that problem.” He met the need whatever it was. And that’s good news for us too. No matter what condition we’re in – mentally, physically or even financially, or even if we feel we have made a mess of our life, we can come to Him whatever our need. He won’t turn us away either. Surely that’s news worth sharing?
Dear God,
Thank you for the ministry of Jesus that brings hope for us all today. Help me to be more willing to share that good news with people who need to hear it.
I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
